Heavy Seas brewed their Blonde Ale with the utmost pride, knowing they were the first to declare local heritage and actually mean it. Being a Baltimore native, I was honored to be asked to create the label for it. The craft beer industry is saturated with loud packaging, so I knew this one had to turn heads while walking the line of simplicity.
I chose to emulate the Bauhaus design aesthetic for it's clear cut shapes, favoring texture-free clean illustrations that capture what makes Baltimore special. I also opted for a limited color palette to keep it feeling cohesive and curated.
